A new Nintendo Direct broadcast will air tomorrow, Tuesday 27th August, at 3pm UK time.
For those across the pond, that’s 7am Pacific, or 10am Eastern.
Lasting roughly 40 minutes, the show will feature upcoming games and announcements for Nintendo Switch, from both major third-party developers as well as indie studios. Just don’t expect any news on Nintendo’s own games – such as the upcoming Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – or Switch 2.
Tomorrow’s broadcast is a combined Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, which focuses on big games from non-Nintendo developers, and an Indie World Showcase, which spotlights projects from smaller creative teams.
In a post on X this afternoon, Nintendo also gave it’s now-familiar statement that it would not be revealing any new in…

The lawsuit (as spotted by TheGamePost) was filed with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana by author Kelsey Martineau. He accuses Bungie of “deliberately copying and appropriating [his] copyrighted content”, arguing aspects of Destiny 2’s Red War storyline – its antagonistic Red Legion army, in particular – were taken “directly” from an original work published via Wordpress years before the (now vaulted) Destiny 2 campaign’s 2017 release.
According to the lawsuit, Martineau, using the pen name Caspar Cole, authored his “original work about a unique a…

Read more Wikipedia has had to lock down the Silent Hill 2 Remake page after repeated vandalism from editors who refuse to accept that the remake of Konami’s seminal horror game released to critical acclaim earlier this week.
Outright lies around the games reception and metacritic score – including one edit that said the game had “received the worst reviews imaginable” – means the page has now been put into a semi-protected state to stop unregistered users from making wild, unsubstantiated claims, including one that said Eurogamer had awarded it 0/5 stars when, in fact, it got top marks.
